Auto Glass Tech

Job Summary:
The Auto Glass Tech position requires to become proficient in replacing automotive glass and perform calibrations in a timely manner and with quality work. Ideal candidates will replace and calibrate approximately 20 glass jobs/week.
 
Job Responsibilities:
The Auto Glass Tech is responsible for all R&I’s (Remove and installs) not damaging any parts while performing his or her job. All tasks must be performed using safety equipment such as gloves, safety glasses. Employee must have a clean driving record, be punctual, always be on time, go getter attitude, and ability work with others as a team. look neat and wear uniform provided by Bedford Auto Group LLC _Bedford Auto Glass (Also Known As Bedford Collision Center LLC) to perform his or her duties.
 

• Preparing for repairs by inspecting the glass that needs to be replaced.
• Prior to replacement, make sure he has a correct replacement glass
• When visiting customers, always look neat and clean, wear uniform
• Keep working Van clean inside and out
• Place tools in a location where they can be found easily for the next job
• The goal is to work independently with assistance of a proper tools
• After each job, fill out “Quality Check Sheet”

Additional Responsibilities:
In addition to the normal duties and responsibilities, Auto Glass Tech will perform other duties that will arise during employment at the company, for example preparing cars for body repair, electrical diagnostic, suspension replacement, post repair car washes. Cleaning the shop floor when needed.
 
Experience And Education Requirements:
The position for Auto Glass Tech requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and at least two years experience in the automotive field. English skills are preferred to be able to communicate with customers on site. Willingness to learn new techniques, products and self education is a key to successful continued employment, such as reading, researching, and youtube.
